if you depict a bird

then give her room to fly

and if she’ll not come back to you

then do not ever cry

for in the sky she soars

one day you might just see

how happily she flies so wild

above the moors so free

if you should care to hark

into the wind so fleet

perhaps you’ll hear upon the breeze

her song so soft and sweet
